In short
Checkout should state exactly what is being purchased, price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation method, and any trial. Talevara should not promise a universal “no refunds” rule because mandatory consumer rights can differ by product and jurisdiction.
1. Paid products covered
This policy is intended to cover Talevara reader subscriptions, premium features, and other digital purchases offered directly by Talevara. Creator-to-reader products may have additional terms depending on the final commercial model.
2. Current commerce status
Paid checkout, prices, taxes, renewal billing, receipts, payout handling, and refund processing are governed by the checkout terms shown at purchase and the support routes linked from this policy.
3. Clear checkout
At checkout, Talevara must show the total price, currency, applicable taxes or how they are calculated, billing interval, renewal terms, included features, trial conversion where relevant, and any material limitations.
4. Automatic renewal
Recurring subscriptions should renew only under the terms clearly presented at signup. Users must have a practical method to stop future renewal. Cancellation should not be made materially harder than signup.
5. Access after cancellation
The default product approach is that cancelling a recurring subscription stops future renewal while access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period, unless a refund, chargeback, legal requirement, or program-specific term requires another result.
6. Refunds and withdrawal rights
Refund eligibility is shown at checkout and handled through billing support. Talevara must honour mandatory statutory withdrawal, refund, conformity, and cancellation rights. Where law allows an immediate digital service or digital-content supply to affect a withdrawal right, the required express consent and acknowledgement must be collected at checkout rather than buried in this policy.
7. Failed payments and chargebacks
Talevara may suspend paid access after a failed payment and may investigate chargebacks or fraud. Creator earnings affected by refunds, fraud, or chargebacks must be handled according to the disclosed Creator Terms.
8. Price changes
Price changes to recurring plans should be communicated before the next affected renewal with any notice required by law, giving the user a reasonable opportunity to cancel.
