Community Guidelines

Rules for reviews, comments, discussions, profiles, and creator-reader interaction.

Effective 14 August 2026 · Version 1.0

Effective 14 August 2026 · Version 1.0. These policies apply to Talevara users and creators.

In short

Critique stories, debate ideas, disagree with opinions, and dislike fictional characters. Do not harass real people, organise abuse, expose private information, threaten others, scam users, or use Talevara to target protected groups.

1. Treat people as people

Disagreement and criticism are allowed. Targeted harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, dogpiling, sexual harassment, or repeated unwanted contact are not.

2. Hate and dehumanisation

Do not attack, dehumanise, threaten, or promote exclusion or violence against people based on protected characteristics. Fictional depiction, quotation, historical context, or critical discussion may be allowed when it is not being used as a vehicle for real-world abuse.

3. Protect minors

Any sexual exploitation or sexualisation of minors, grooming, requests for sexual material from minors, or attempts to move minors into unsafe private interactions are prohibited. Content involving minors may receive stricter safety treatment even when framed as fiction or roleplay.

4. Privacy and personal information

Do not publish another person’s private or sensitive information without a lawful basis or clear permission. Do not threaten to expose personal information.

5. Impersonation and deception

Do not impersonate another person, creator, Talevara staff member, publisher, or organization in a misleading way. Parody must be clear enough not to deceive reasonable users.

6. Spam, manipulation and scams

Do not mass-post repetitive promotions, manipulate ratings or engagement, coordinate fake reviews, buy or sell accounts, run phishing schemes, or use deceptive links.

7. Reviews and criticism

Reviews may be negative and specific. They should address the work or reading experience rather than becoming a campaign against the author or other readers. Conflicts of interest, paid endorsements, or promotional relationships should be disclosed where relevant.

8. Spoilers

Use available spoiler controls or clear warnings for major plot revelations in community areas where readers would not reasonably expect them.

9. Enforcement

Talevara may remove content, restrict features, limit distribution, suspend accounts, or take other proportionate action. Context, severity, repetition, intent, risk of harm, and account history may affect the response.

10. Reporting and appeals

Use Safety & Reporting for policy issues. Where an appeal route is available, use it instead of repeatedly reposting removed material or organising retaliatory reports.
