Save or remove a story

Summary

Save a story to your Library for easier return, or remove its bookmark without affecting the work or your account.

Steps

1. Sign in if the save action asks for an account, then open the story card or its detail page.
2. Activate the bookmark or Save control and wait for the state to change to saved; the story should then appear in your Library.
3. To remove a bookmark, activate the same saved control and confirm that its state changes back.
4. If you only want to stop reading, leave the story; you do not need to delete your Library entry or report the work.

What to expect

• Saving a story does not follow its creator, publish a review, or tell other readers about your choices.
• Removing a saved entry affects your Library only; it does not delete the story, creator draft, account, or personal data.
• A creator can unpublish work and moderation can restrict it, so a saved link is not a guarantee that the story will remain available.

Troubleshooting

• If the save icon does not update, confirm sign-in, reload once, and check the Library before repeating the action.
• If the story disappears from the Library, check whether you are using the same account and whether the story remains public and eligible for you.
• For account deletion or data erasure, use the separate deletion flow in Settings and review each irreversible option.
