Summary

Some stories use distinct blocks for dialogue, thoughts, or creator-provided context; these remain part of the story presentation.

Steps

  1. Read the passage in order and look for a visually distinct note, dialogue, or thought block.
  2. If a block has an interactive disclosure control, open it with a click, touch, or keyboard activation; ordinary text blocks need no action.
  3. Read any revealed note in context, then use the same control to close it if the Reader provides one.
  4. Continue through the passage and its choices as usual; annotations do not change your account or content-access setting.

What to expect

  • Authors choose whether to include annotation-style blocks; not every story or chapter contains them.
  • A note may explain context or reveal plot details, so review visible warnings before opening spoiler-sensitive material.
  • These story blocks do not create a public comment or reader-to-creator conversation feature.

Troubleshooting

  • If a disclosure cannot be reached with Tab or activated with Enter/Space, report the story URL and the control’s label to Accessibility Support.
  • If text overlaps or a note obscures the passage, include the device, browser, and approximate screen width in a support request.
  • If a note contains harmful or mislabeled material, use Safety & Reporting and describe the passage without reposting sensitive content.
