Read maturity ratings, content warnings, and AI disclosures before opening a story so you can make an informed choice.

Steps

1. Check the story’s rating and content-warning labels on its detail page before you start reading.
2. Use your Account or Settings content-access choice to allow only the highest maturity rating you are comfortable viewing.
3. For Mature or Adult access, sign in and complete the corresponding self-attestation; the birth date is checked in your browser and is not sent to Talevara.
4. If a public story’s warning, rating, or AI disclosure appears inaccurate, report the specific label through Safety & Reporting.

What to expect

• Age-restricted stories are omitted from public discovery and require a signed-in, rating-specific confirmation before direct access.
• Self-attestation is not identity verification; Talevara does not ask for identity documents for this story-rating check.
• Creators provide labels and disclosures, while authorized moderation may review and correct them under the published policies.

Troubleshooting

• If an eligible story remains unavailable, confirm the matching rating in Settings, then follow the approved public link again.
• If a warning is missing or misleading, give Support the public story URL and identify the label or passage in question.
• For AI disclosure concerns, choose the closest available story-report reason and explain what appears undisclosed or inaccurate.
