Summary
Create a private draft first, then build a linear or branching story using the Creator Studio editor and its validation tools.
Steps
- Open Create while signed in and choose the action for starting a story; the new work begins as a draft.
- Enter a clear title and accurate description, then set the format, language, genre, rating, warnings, and disclosures requested by the editor.
- Write the story as ordered chapters or scenes; add choices and destinations only where the reader should branch.
- Save the current draft manually, preview it, and run validation before submitting it for Admin review.
What to expect
- A draft is visible only to you, apart from authorized Admin review after you submit it.
- An unpublished story has one current saved draft; V1 does not keep unlimited draft snapshots or autosave history.
- Submitting does not publish immediately: an Admin must review and approve the story and cover first.
Troubleshooting
- If Save does not confirm, keep the page open, check the required fields, and retry once before navigating away.
- If validation names a missing chapter or destination, use that message to return to the editor and correct the relevant story element.
- If the draft cannot be opened later, sign in to the same account and contact Creator Support with the title and approximate save time.
