Publishing validation

Summary

Run the Creator Studio checks before submission so required details, links, choices, labels, and cover constraints are ready for review.

Steps

1. Save the current draft, then use the validation action shown in Creator Studio.
2. Read each blocking error and navigate to the matching story detail, chapter, scene, choice, or cover field.
3. Review warnings as well as errors; confirm the rating, content notes, AI disclosure, rights, and public summary describe the story accurately.
4. After correcting issues, save and run validation again, then preview the linear sequence or test important branching paths.

What to expect

• Validation checks product requirements; it does not grant publication approval, certify legal rights, or replace manual Admin review.
• A new story or cover stays private until approved; for a revision, the last approved story remains public while the replacement is reviewed.
• You remain responsible for the accuracy and rights status of material you submit.

Troubleshooting

• If the same validation error returns, check whether the change was saved and whether another route references the edited passage.
• If a warning is unclear, record its wording and the field it names before contacting Creator Support.
• If validation passes but submission is inaccessible, check the story status and confirm that a review request has not already been sent.
