Summary

Report a story when its content, rating, warning, disclosure, or rights status raises a specific concern; a report starts review, not automatic deletion.

Steps

  1. Open the public story or the relevant chapter and choose its report control, if available.
  2. Select the reason that best matches the issue and describe the specific story detail, label, or passage involved.
  3. Submit once and keep the confirmation or case reference; do not include passwords, authentication codes, or unrelated personal data.
  4. If your concern is a copyright claim or formal legal notice, use the dedicated Copyright/IP or legal-notice route instead of a general story report.

What to expect

  • One report hides the story from general Explore while it is reviewed, but readers who already liked or saved it may still have access.
  • Reports from three distinct accounts hide a story from all readers pending review; a report by itself does not delete the story.
  • The Admin reviews reports manually, and both the Admin and creator are notified; the creator waits for the review outcome.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot find a report control, open Safety & Reporting and choose the closest available report route.
  • Do not submit duplicate reports for the same issue unless you have new, relevant information.
  • If you need to challenge an eligible moderation decision, follow the notice or the Moderation & Appeals policy; Support can help with access issues.
